Considered one of the greatest goalies of all time, Florida star Bob Diaz has competed in more than 20 open finals during a succesful pro career that began in the late 1980s. Bobby is a solid and productive offensive player from goal, but is primarily known for his efficient and intelligent style of defense which has opponents constantly shaking their heads and wondering how he does it. “As a match goes on, Diaz seems to cause the goal to shrink, making it really tough to find an open hole?, says one tour contemporary.

Diaz combined with partner Terry Moore from 1995 through 2002 to form one of the most succesful duos in foosball history. Moore and Diaz won eleven major titles during that span, including the World Open Doubles Championship in 1997. He has earned one tour title playing the forward position and his third place finish in Championship Singles at the 2005 Worlds demonstrates just how versatile he can be. Bob has earned six Tornado Goalie of the Year Awards in the past ten years and remains to this day one of the sport’s most feared opponents.
