CINDY HEAD Inducted 2006

CINDY HEAD Inducted 2006This great Alabama fooser has won more than 70 times on the major professional tour and has earned a record 36 World Championship titles during her amazing career, 15 more than any other player. One of the sport's truly dominating performers, she earned a remarkable nine straight world singles championships from 1986-94 and added doubles titles in eight of those years. Still considered one of the sport's top female foosers, Cindy has won five of the past seven singles titles at the Worlds and added a second straight doubles title at the recent Kick-Off event  with partner Dawn Duquette. The incredible Ms. Head has also won the singles title at the Las Vegas season-opener seven times in the nine years that it has been held, losing only to arch-rival Moya Tielens in 2002 and 2006. Cindy continues to be one of the most dynamic players on the pro tour, an intimidating and aggressive player who is a difficult match-up for anyone she plays. When you're at a tour event and you hear her signature phrase "Boom Baby" echoing across the ballroom, you'll know that the great Cindy Head has scored again, and is probably on her way to yet another tournament victory.
