One of the most fiercely-competitive players to ever play the game, Steve Murray used his exquisite offensive 5-row and Texas-style pull shot to put together a career record that places him among the best to ever play the game. Steve won more than twenty major open titles during an illustrious playing career that began in the late 1970s and concluded at the end of the 1996 season. He earned six career world titles, and became the first man to ever triple in Dallas when he claimed the Open Doubles, Singles and Mixed titles at the 1987 event. Murray also won the inaugural Masters Singles championship in 1988 and was voted Tour Player of the Year two different times. Steve is the long-time promoter of the annual Texas State Championships, one of the sport's top regional events.

Johnny's 20 year foosball career saw him enjoy success as a player, promoter, table designer, Hollywood technical director and author. As a player he won world titles in both singles and doubles and was renowned as man who could play both positions equally well. Lott's knowledgeable participation helped make the 1980 feature film "Longshot" into the best movie ever made about the sport. Lott was heavily involved in promoting the sport during the 1980s with both the Coin Sports and Dynamo tours and with the Striker table, which he designed. He co-authored "The Complete Book of Foosball" in 1981, helping to teach the game to that era's future stars.

Link was one of the sport's top promoters during the 1990s when his Oklahoma foosball program was considered one of the strongest ever. Link was also the USTSA Tournament Director for many years and went on to work the overseas market for Valley-Dynamo in the late 1990s.

Considered by many "old schoolers" to be the best all-around lady player ever, Lori won her first major title at the 1973 Nationals, taking home the mixed doubles title with fellow Texan Gary Pfeil. She earned multiple world championships in doubles, singles and mixed doubles and added tour victories in open doubles as well. This Dallas star won 44 times on the Tournament Soccer and Tornado tours and has the distinction of being the only female player to be listed on the Tournament Soccer all time earnings list.

Texan Bob Furr designed and manufactured the original Tornado foosball table back in the early 1970s. Bob was the brains behind many of the innovations that make the Tornado table unique, including the heavy duty cabinet, faceted handle, and the counter balanced man. Bob also created the name "Tornado" and helped design the table's logo which is still in use today.

Considered the father of the modern Tornado pro tour, Courington was instrumental in creating today's American foosball-playing environment. Originally from Alabama, Dave began his career in Houston, Texas as a player, promoter and operator of tables in the early 1980s. His overall contributions in the areas of table design and manufacturing, along with his guidance of the Tornado professional tour from the mid 1980s through the late '90s make him one of the most influential foosball men of the last twenty years. Dave has been a major part of the table soccer scene for more than three decades and continues to be a bigger-than-life presence on the American and international pro foosball tour.

CARRIE WALEGIR  Inducted 1999

Known by the last names "Westbrook" and "Crowell" during her playing days, this very succesful female fooser won 26 times on the T.S. tour in a career that spanned the years 1977-1981. She earned four career world championship titles, winning doubles and singles at both the 1979 and 1980 events, and was named the top lady forward in 1979.
